Learn about the benefits of a HAG Membership
For the past 27 years, the HAG has worked in a non-partisan fashion to educate Administrations and Members of Congress on the benefits of the LIHTC. Widely viewed and accepted by policy makers as the most successful affordable housing production program created in partnership with the private sector, the LIHTC enjoys broad bi-partisan support.
HAG membership is open to practitioners within the affordable housing industry, including but not limited to developers, syndicators, LLPs, LLCs, law firms, accounting firms and investors. HAG membership entails an annual commitment of $3,500. These dues help the HAG continue its efforts to strengthen the LIHTC program and cover the increased cost of efforts to educate elected officials and make far-reaching changes to the program structure. Dues are allocated to our legal/tax counsel in Washington, D.C. that handles our tax lobbying.
Members of the HAG receive regular updates on our lobbying efforts as well as any relevant issues that arise in Washington, D.C. We also hold our annual HAG Affordable Housing Congressional Forum in DC, which fosters positive interaction between HAG members and key members of Congress and their staffs.
