Register to join your affordable housing colleagues on Wednesday, June 10 for the 2026 Affordable Housing Symposium, taking place in Washington, DC, and co-hosted by the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC) and Housing Advisory Group (HAG). You will hear from members of Congress and key congressional staff, as well as updates from industry leaders and advocates about the latest issues impacting the Housing Credit. After the Symposium, all participants are invited to a networking reception with Members of Congress and staff.

On the following day, Thursday, June 11, we will be arranging congressional meetings, and we encourage all attendees to join us in advocating for the Housing Credit while in Washington, DC. Individual schedules and briefing materials for congressional meetings will be provided as the event approaches, but, in the meantime, please indicate when you register if you will be able to participate.

If you register for the congressional meetings on June 11, we will be placing you in a group with other attendees and scheduling meetings with congressional members and staff. Please only register if you are planning to join us for these meetings, and please let us know as soon as possible if you are no longer able to join.

2025 Affordable Housing Symposium

On June 4 and 5, 2025, the Housing Advisory Group and the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC) co-hosted the 2025 Affordable Housing Symposium in Washington, DC. Attendees heard remarks from Members of Congress, including Sens. Todd Young (R-IN) and Maria Cantwell (D-WA), and Reps. Darin LaHood (R-IL), Mike Carey (R-OH), Randy Feenstra (R-IA), Suzan DelBene (D-WA), and Chair of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE). 

Attendees also heard updates from congressional staff representing members on key House and Senate committees and insights from industry leaders and advocates on the latest issues impacting the Low-Income Housing Credit (Housing Credit) in 2025 tax reconciliation. After the symposium, all participants were invited to attend a networking reception with key Members of Congress and staff.

The following day, Thursday, June 5, 2025, the Housing Advisory Group and the AHTCC arranged congressional meetings for 65 participants with 33 congressional offices as part of the Symposium, to continue building support for the Housing Credit and the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA) of 2025.
