David Gasson Inducted into Affordable Housing Hall of fame

Affordable Housing Finance (AHF) has announced the induction of David Gasson, Executive Director of the Housing Advisory Group and Founding Partner of MG Housing Strategies, into the Affordable Housing Hall of Fame, honoring his decades-long commitment to expanding and strengthening affordable housing across the United States.

Gasson’s distinguished career spans more than 30 years of policy leadership, industry collaboration, and tireless advocacy on behalf of low-income families, seniors, and communities in need. Throughout his tenure, he has been a driving force behind key legislative efforts to preserve and expand the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), promote bipartisan housing solutions, and elevate the national dialogue around affordable housing access.

As Executive Director of the Housing Advisory Group, Gasson has helped guide the organization’s mission to support the development and preservation of affordable rental housing. His work with MG Housing Strategies has further advanced pivotal housing policy initiatives.

In being named to the Affordable Housing Hall of Fame, Gasson joins a distinguished group of advocates, developers, financiers, and thought leaders whose contributions have had a transformative impact on the field, including HAG Chairman Bob Moss.

The Affordable Housing Hall of Fame is an annual recognition by Affordable Housing Finance, celebrating individuals whose careers have significantly advanced the affordable housing industry and strengthened communities nationwide.
